How to Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 on iPhone and iPad Using Mac OS X - The Taig jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 is an application or tool is currently only available for Windows users only, so that makes it difficult for Mac users to jailbreak their iOS devices. However, it turns out there is a new jailbreak tool called "PP jailbreak" which is claimed to Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 on Mac.

"PP jailbreak for Mac" is the name of the application or tool that runs on Mac OS X machines, which you can use to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 on iPhone and your iPad. Developer of this application, seems to different with Taig jailbreak team, although if we look from the website owner PP jailbreak for Mac also in Mandarin. so we can make conclude if the developer who released a jailbreak tool for Mac OS X version is also coming from China.

We could not guarantee authenticity of this tool, but users have reported that it works fine. Use your own risk.  Below is a simple tutorial about how to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 on Mac with PP jailbreak tool. This is just as the simple as the Taig tool, However only for Mac computers. Before you start, you need to disable the Find My iPhone, Touch ID / Passcode Lock and Unlock Airplane mode. This is is also advisable to perform a recovery, to iOS 8.1.2. As a condition of the jailbreak process to run smoothly. Now follow the steps below: 

Step 1. Restore your iPhone to iOS 8.1.2, then you need to disable the Find My iPhone, passcode lock, and then position the iPhone to Airplane Mode.

Step 2. Make sure your iPhone is connected directly to your Mac using the USB cable original.

Step 3. Download PP jailbreak tool for Mac, save it on the desktop.

Step 4. Double-click on the file 'ppjailbreak.dmg' that you have downloaded (step # 3)

Step 5. Drag the files PP越狱.app to the Applications folder, Then Open it.

Step 6: Remove checklis on the box located at the bottom left corner of the application. The aim of this third-party applications do not come installed on your iPhone after jailbreak process completed.

Step 7: You can see a button with the words mandarin who was in the middle of application, we are assuming this button is a button "Jailbreak", click the button to switch to the next page, on this page you will find two buttons again, to start the process jailbreaking please click the right button.

Step 8: Now, in this process, you just need to wait for the jailbreak process completed, should not do anything on a Mac or iPhone during process.

Step 9: To find out if the jailbreak process has been completed, application of PP jailbreak for Mac will show a sign of green checklist. and an iPhone or iPad will be restarted, after your device back to normal, you will see cydia icon on springboard.

Please disable airplane mode and connect your device with wifi network if available, then open cydia application to setup. Good luck.
