Apple Released a Minor Update for iOS 9.2.1 to Fix Error 53 - After a month of controversy happened on iTunes error 53 when a restore or upgrade the IOS 9 on devices with Touch ID feature. Finally today Apple released a minor update for iOS 9.2.1 with a focus to solve error 53, this update comes with a code number 13D20, specifically released for iPhone 6/6 plus, 6s / 6s plus. maybe this is Apple's response to users who complain and protest because of this error, the iPhone is experiencing this problem, make their devices can not be used. Untill this day, the cause of this iTunes error, believed by touch id feature, which is not functioning properly or broken.

For those of you who have an iPhone 6 / plus or your iPhone 6s / plus and getting error 53 in iTunes when do an update or restore, you can fix it by downloading and installing iOS 9.2.1 (13D20) via iTunes. Because the error 53 to make your your iPhone to be not working totaly, so you can not update your device via OTA, even on devices that normally do not find these updates through the app settings.
